Late June–Early July: The multi-species bite has remained consistent, but early morning and late afternoon have been the best times to be on the water.

Scattered Summer Patterns: The water has warmed up so fast that a lot of the multi-species are scattered. They are still relating to weeds and weed edges, but they are also moving out onto the mud flats where bug hatches are actively occurring. These hatches should wrap up by the first week of July.

Water Temps & Musky Warning: Starting around July 4th, water temperatures are climbing into the upper 70s with the warmer weather.

🛑 Musky Angler Note: Please be careful when choosing musky waters and times of day to fish them in these high temperatures. To keep the fish safe, stick to bigger and deeper lakes—which we have plenty of to choose from in the area.
